ACD-2064
Keep your building's indoor space quiet and peaceful by installing the ACD-2064, a recessed, acoustical access door. You'll find its features very effective in specific spaces like conference rooms, recording studios, and offices, to name a few.
You'll want the ACD-2064 to achieve the best soundproofing in different building areas. Manufacturers used an 18 gauge recessed design filled with 1½" thick acoustic mineral liner, 0.11" thick mineral-filled vinyl barrier, and fitted with 5/8" thick drywall finished face on the door.
Besides its soundproof door, the frame is an 18 gauge; press bent for strength and rigidity, drywall taping bead flange Insulated with a 1" thick acoustical mineral liner. This feature further increases soundproofing in areas where your contractors installed the access door.
You will also notice a 1/8" x ½" neoprene rubber gasket with an adhesive that protects systems and components on the other side of the door. Other features include a continuous exposed stainless steel piano hinge and a standard slotted screwdriver cam latch lock. You have other lock options, including a compression latch with a hex head, a hex with a security pin, a Square, Triangle, or a Torx head with a security pin.
